动物科学家可以驻扎在许多领域。完成动物科学硕士课程后，毕业生主要在行业、研究机构、公共部门或非营利组织找到工作。毕业生主要从事技术、商业或管理职能。许多毕业生选择在荷兰或国外的大学或研究机构担任科学研究人员。在公共部门（例如省、国家或欧盟当局），动物科学家担任政策顾问，例如制定动物福利和环境的立法和政策。此外，还有更多的职业机会，例如金融服务、兽医部门、动物园、IT 部门或咨询公司。

Alevel：

General Certificate of Secondary Education (3 subjects A* - C) + General Certificate of Education (3 subjects on advanced level, A* - C), 6 different subjects in total (Mathematics A + Chemistry A + Biology A)

IB: Mathematics* + Chemistry (one of these two has to be at HL) + Biology SL

IELTS:overall grade 6, with a minimum sub-score of 6.0 for speaking
