II.MPP Essay: The MPP curriculum is designed to broaden students’ perspective and sharpen skills necessary for a successful career in public service through a rigorous set of courses that draw on the social sciences but are adapted for action. MPA Policy Essay (200 words maximum) Identify a policy arena in which better use of quantitative data might enhance, improve, or otherwise influence decision-making in public policy. What are the challenges (short-term and long-term) to successful development and utilization of such data?
