Academic entry qualification

All applicants must have a U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. Three letters of recommendation must be submitted from faculty members acquainted with the applicant’s work in the major area of study. GRE: Subject tests may be required by department. 

Standardized Tests

International applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by providing an official score report from either TOEFL or IELTS. Preferred minimum scores:

TOEFL: 100 iBT (600 pbt; 250 cbt)

IELTS: 7.0 overall band score
