Academic entry qualification

•  Final Chinese Upper Middle School transcript and graduation diploma; Chinese high school diploma

•  Gao Kao exam results provided （If you’re not writing the Gao Kao, you must submit a formal explanation to Waterloo’s admissions committee explaining why you are not writing the Gao Kao.）

•  Hui Kao exam results (high school graduation exam)

•  Completion of at least 5 Senior 3 academic courses   

• Senior 3   English, minimum final grade of 80%. Overall average 85% in Senior 3.

Transfer:

• Final Chinese Upper Middle School transcript and graduation diploma;
  

• Chinese National University Entrance Examination (Gao Kao) results;
  

• Any post-secondary transcripts for verification   
  

Standardized Tests

•  TOEFL 90

    Minimum score: 25 writing, 25 speaking

•  IELTS 6.5 

    Minimum score: 6.5 writing, 6.5 speaking, 6.0 reading, 6.0 listening
