Academic entry qualification

First-year application

• One essay + Two short answers. We don’t get to meet our applicants face-to-face, so your essay (250-650 words) and short answers (200-250 words) give us the opportunity to hear your voice and get to know you as a person. 

• Secondary School/High School Transcripts 

• Secondary school statement. 

• SAT or ACT scores. 

• Secondary School Official Report/Recommendation

• Teacher Letter of Recommendation

Transfer application

• All transfer applicants must submit their secondary school/high school transcripts

• Applicants must submit transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. 

• Sophomore applicants (those with less than 60 transferable credit hours) must submit SAT or ACT scores. The optional writing sections of both exams are not required, and we do not require SAT II Subject Tests for admission.

Standardized Tests

All non-US citizens and non-permanent resident students for whom English is not their first language must submit test scores to demonstrate their English proficiency. We will accept the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE. Competitive applicants typically score 100 or higher on the TOEFL, 7.0 or higher on the IELTS or 68 or higher on the PTE.

所有非美国公民和英语不是其第一语言的非永久居留学生必须提交考试成绩以证明其英语水平。 我们将接受托福，雅思或PTE。 有竞争力的申请人通常托福成绩达到100分以上，雅思成绩达到7.0分以上，或者PTE达到68分以上。
