• To be eligible to transfer, you must have completed at least one continuous academic year in a full-time degree program at one college and not have completed more than two years total in college. You must complete at least two full years of study at Harvard.
Standardized Tests
We require all applicants to complete the ACT with the writing component, the old SAT, or the new SAT with writing and we normally require two SAT Subject Tests. The majority of students admitted represent a range of scores from roughly 600 to 800 on each section of the SAT as well as on the SAT Subject Tests. The 25th percentile for admitted students on the SAT is about 2100; the 75th percentile is about 2350.
While there is no absolute test score cut-off, the Committee would be concerned that an internet based TOEFL score below 100 might indicate that the candidate does not have sufficient fluency in English to do well in classes here.
