Academic entry qualification

First-year application

All students who apply to Georgia Tech must submit an official high school transcript in English. All freshman applicants must take the SAT and/or the ACT, as they provide helpful standardized context for your application as compared to our overall applicant pool. The essay portion of both exams (SAT and ACT) is optional but recommended. 

Transfer application

An eligible transfer applicant is a degree-seeking student who has completed a minimum of thirty (30) semester or forty-five (45) quarter credit hours transferable to Georgia Tech. An official transcript is required from all previous colleges or universities. Georgia Tech requires two English Composition course requirements (ENGL 1101 & ENGL 1102) for all transfer applicants to satisfy English proficiency and Georgia Tech degree requirements. 

The minimum GPA requirement is 3.3 on a 4.0 grade scale for College of Computing and College of Engineering applicants. The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on a 4.0 grade scale for College of Design, College of Sciences, Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, and Scheller College of Business applicants.

Standardized Tests

The TOEFL and IELTS are not required but recommended for students for whom English is not their first language. Both tests are accepted with no preference between the two.

学术入学资格

新学生

转学生

符合条件的转学申请者是已转学至乔治亚理工学院完成至少三十（30）个学期或四十五（45）个学分的学位课程学生。 所有以前的学院或大学都需要正式的成绩单。 佐治亚理工学院要求所有转学申请者必须具备两门英语写作课程要求（ENGL 1101和ENGL 1102），以满足英语水平和乔治亚理工学院学位要求。

计算机学院和工程学院申请人的GPA最低要求为4.0分。 设计学院，理学院，伊凡·艾伦文学院和谢勒商学院申请者的4.0级学位GPA的最低要求为3.0。

标准化成绩要求

托福和雅思不是必须的，但建议英语不是他们的第一语言的学生。 两个测试都被接受，两者皆可。
